Aseem Mahajan
I'm an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the KAPSARC School of Public Policy. My research on climate and energy politics appears in political science, economics, and energy journals. More recently, I've been looking at the political economy of gender and work in Saudi Arabia, and at how artificial intelligence is reshaping labor markets, media consumption, and international relations.
I hold a Ph.D. from Harvard University and an A.B. from Princeton University. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Associate in NYU Abu Dhabi's Division of Social Science. Before graduate school, I worked at IFF, a Community Development Financial Institution in Chicago, and in PwC's Global Transfer Pricing division in New York.
